Codependency worksheets are tools that can help people who struggle with codependency in their relationships. Codependency is a pattern of behavior that involves excessive emotional or psychological reliance on a partner, family member, friend, or other person. Codependent people often neglect their own needs, boundaries, and identity, and focus on pleasing, rescuing, or controlling the other person. Codependency can lead to low self-esteem, resentment, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

Codependency worksheets can help people identify the signs and causes of codependency, explore their feelings and thoughts, challenge their beliefs and assumptions, set healthy goals and boundaries, and develop coping skills and self-care strategies. Codependency worksheets can be used as part of therapy or counseling, or as self-help resources.

Some examples of codependency worksheets are:

  1. The Avoiding Codependency Worksheet: This worksheet helps people reflect on their codependent relationships and what they want to change or improve. It also encourages them to think about their own needs, interests, and values, and how they can pursue them independently of the other person.
  2. The Codependency Quiz: This quiz is a self-assessment tool that can help people determine if they have codependent tendencies. It consists of 20 yes-or-no questions that cover various aspects of codependency, such as self-worth, communication, boundaries, emotions, and control.
  3. The Codependency Treatment Worksheet: This worksheet is a guide for people who want to overcome codependency and build healthier relationships. It provides seven steps to follow, such as acknowledging the problem, seeking professional help, learning about codependency, practicing self-compassion, establishing boundaries, finding support, and maintaining progress.
